The design purpose of a fuel system is to receive, store, monitor, filter, and transfer in accordance with quality control plan and standards. The primary difference between afuel system at a large hub (terminal) and considerably small storage is the scale of infrastructure and the number of components however we do not have standardization differences at any of our fuel storages. SML Border storages are called Terminals whereas within the country storages are called Secondary Storage/ Regional Hubs or we call them with city name.
SML fuel storages are located internationally countrywide strategically locations, depending on factors related to the customer need, such as one of our customers need continuous fuel supply, small quantity but on continuous basis. To make this happen, and started maintaining almost three months inventory at destinations. The same principal we follow for every project.
For the supply of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) to the airports. From each of our storage facility, the fuel is loaded into refueler tank trucks in case of storage delivery or ground fuel dispensers for final delivery. SML focus is standardized fuel processes, facilities, and delivery. This practice continuously cost us but customer and their equipment are more important for us. Once fuel crosses onto customer property, its environmental safekeeping ultimately becomes the responsibility of the customer, no matter who is involved in the receipt, storage, or consumption of the fuel however, we continue our fuel testing until standard fuel is delivered to the customer. We cooperate and take full responsibilities of fuel quality, quantity and delivery timing.
On-site storage tanks optimize supply management and fueling operations for customers of all sizes in the commercial, industrial, agricultural, and governmental segments.
